The Global Change Institute’s Living Building is a flagship sustainability project that champions office design in a low-carbon world. The building was awarded the Green Building Council of Australia’s 6 Star Green Star rating and ranked 34th in the world’s 50 most impressive environmentally friendly university buildings.

The Plough Inn, South Bank

Established in 1864 and placed on the world heritage list in 1992, The Plough Inn is the heart of Brisbane and the icon of Queensland hospitality. With sweeping views over the Brisbane city skyline and the amazing South Bank lagoon (the iconic Streets Beach), the venue lends itself to all occasions and has the perfect space for special functions.

Located in the beautiful South Bank Parklands precinct, The Plough Inn is the venue for the APCOP-V 2024 Welcome Reception on Sunday, 3 November 2024.

Customs House, Brisbane

The Customs House in Brisbane is a heritage-listed building built between 1886 and 1889, which became redundant when port facilities moved to the Port of Brisbane at the mouth of the Brisbane River.

Today, under the custodianship of The University of Queensland, the Customs House serves as the premier function venue in the city, providing the beautiful heritage surroundings or outside on the terrace overlooking Brisbane River and the Story Bridge.

It is the venue for APCOP-V 2024 Conference Dinner on Tuesday, 5 November 2024.
